Hiddink and Rijkaard favourites for Chelsea job
Gus Hiddink and Frank Rijkaard are among the favourites to be the next Chelsea manager in the football betting following Luiz Felipe Scolari's sacking yesterday (February 9th).Both men were linked with the Chelsea job before Scolari was given it last summer, as was former Blues striker Gianfranco Zola, who is also being backed to take on the role.Hiddink is currently the manager of Russia, while Rijkaard is a free agent after leaving his post at Barcelona last year.Zola is the head coach at West Ham United, who lie eighth in the Premier League table.Other managers being mentioned in relation to the position include Carlo Ancelloti, Roberto Mancini, Louis van Gaal and 2007-08 boss Avram Grant.Grant is the favourite to take over at Portsmouth, who also sacked their manager, Tony Adams, on Monday.Sven Goran Eriksson, Alan Curbishley, Slaven Bilic and Graeme Souness are all being talked about as potentials for that job.
