Santa Cruz Claims City Want A Champions League Place

Manchester City are targeting a top four finish from this year's Premier League campaign, Roque Santa Cruz has said.

The striker said his team are hoping to reach the Champions League and are targeting tomorrow's opponents - Liverpool - as the means to do so.

"We need to go to Liverpool and prove we can take one of those places they want to be involved in," he said.

City are currently in sixth place - a point and a place above Rafael Benitez's side.
