Football Betting - Fergie Claims Premier League Is A Two-horse Race

Fergie Thinks Two Teams Will Break Away

Sir Alex Ferguson has predicted that the race for the Premier League title will be down to just two teams by the end of the season.

Despite the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City having started strongly the Manchester United boss has stated his belief that two teams will break away from the leading pack before too long.

Speaking ahead of his side's weekend clash with Everton, the Scot acknowledged that United, as well as all the other top sides, are losing more games and dropping more points than ever though before Christmas.

"That gives rise to the hope that it could be a very competitive league," he said. "But my experience tells me that two teams break away towards the last part of the season."

Sir Alex will be going into the home game with Everton looking to gain points on league leaders Chelsea.

United are 2/5 to win the game with Bet365 (Go to Bet365 »), while Totesport (Go to Totesport ») is offering 3/1 for the draw.
