Football Betting - Gerrard Confident Of Liverpool Resurgence

Gerrard Claims The Last Few Weeks Have Been Frustrating

Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard has said the Anfield-based team are confident in their skills despite a recent lack of wins.

The Reds have come out on top in just one game out of their last ten, but Gerrard confirmed the side still has faith.

He remarked: "The mood in the camp is really good, although we know our position in the table isn't good enough."

According to the England regular, he has had "a frustrating few weeks" after returning from injury because of the international games.

Liverpool drew 2-2 with Manchester City at the weekend, with Martin Skrtel and Yossi Benyoun netting for the home side, leaving last year's Premier League runners up in seventh place.

Paddy Power (Go to Paddy Power ») currently rates Liverpool's chances of finishing in the top four at 10/11, although these odds will get longer if the squad fails to pick up an away win at Everton next week.

Skybet (Go to Skybet ») currently has Rafael Benitez's men as 11/8 favourites.
