Confidence High In Scotland Camp, Says Parks

Parks Is Ready For The Weekend Clash

Scotland are confident going into their Calcutta Cup clash against England, it has been claimed.

The Scots are the only team without a win in this year's RBS Six Nations tournament, but fly-half Dan Parks has insisted that confidence in the camp is high.

Despite the fact they are away from home, England are the bookies' favourites, with Boyle Sports (Go to Boyle Sports ») and Coral (Go to Coral ») offering odds of 1/2 for the win.

But Parks sees plenty of reasons for optimism. "If we can keep getting our game in order, we certainly can challenge them and that's obviously what we are going to be trying to do," he said.

Last time out both teams lost, but England are still in the hunt for the trophy, while Scotland find themselves fighting out a wooden spoon contest - a far cry from the heady heights of beating Australia in the summer.

Anyone looking to take a punt of Scotland, may want to consider Bet365 (Go to Bet365 »), which has them priced at 13/8 for the victory.
