Potter: Super League Will Be More Than A Two-horsed Race

Super League Will Not Just Be Between Two Teams, Says Potter

Mick Potter has suggested that his St Helens squad could face some tough competition from teams other than Leeds this year.

The Saints coach said that the Super League will not have "too many easy games" for his side throughout the season, Sky Sports News reports.

He remarked: "There's Bradford, Hull, Huddersfield and probably quite a few others - Warrington - who you think are going to be difficult to beat."

According to Potter, Wigan may also be one to watch as they have brought in a new boss and will be looking to change their strategy.

However, he admitted that Leeds still pose one of the biggest challenges, adding that they have just recruited two high-profile athletes to boost their performance.

The Rhinos remain the favourites to win the Super League, with bookmakers including 888Sport (Go to 888sport »)
and Blue Square (Go to Blue Square ») offering odds of 6/5 that they will come away victorious.

Betdaq (Go to Betdaq ») has St Helens at 133/50.
