'Huge Challenge' For Leeds Rhinos This Weekend
Leeds Rhinos will face a significant test when they take on Melbourne Storm at Elland Road this weekend.
That is the suggestion of boss Brian McClennan, who believes Sunday's World Club Challenge could be the toughest game in his side's history.
"We want to do Super League proud against the best side the NRL have produced in quite a few decades," said the Leeds coach. "They're a team that is evolving the game of rugby league very quickly."
Leeds are making a fourth appearance in the game, having been victorious in 2007 and 2008.
And they will be looking to reclaim the title against Melbourne after suffering defeat at the hands of Manly Sea Eagles last year.
Should the Rhinos be victorious, they will equal the three World Club Challenge victories of Wigan and Bradford.
The defending champions are currently seventh in the Super League table after four games, but are 11/8 favourites with Totesport (Go to Totesport ») to win the Grand Final again this year, with Coral (Go to Coral ») offering odds of 10/3 for St Helens - 2009's losing finalists.
