Leeds 'not taking Crusaders lightly' in Super League opener

Leeds are looking to win the Grand Final for the third year in a row

Brian McClennan has claimed that his Leeds Rhinos side are not taking Celtic Crusaders lightly ahead of their match that will kick-off the new Super League season tonight (February 6th).The Crusaders are making their debut in the competition just four years after they were founded and are massive underdogs in the Rugby League betting as they prepare to face the 2007 and 2008 Grand Final winners at Headingley. But McClennan has suggested he is not overconfident, stating that representing a country, as the Wales-based Crusaders are, can prove to be "a big motivator for a side when they travel away from home". "We will certainly not be underestimating John Dixon's side," he remarked. The Rhinos are the joint favourites to win the Grand Final this season along with St Helens, the team they have beaten in the last two years.Meanwhile, Celtic are expected to finish bottom of the table, behind Salford Reds.
