Premier League managers regret lack of goals
Managers Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger have both spoken of their regret that their teams could not score more goals in last night's Champions League fixtures. Speaking after Manchester United's 0-0 draw away at Inter Milan, Sir Alex claimed to be reasonably happy with the result, but rued his side's failure to put the ball in the back of the net despite dominating large parts of the game. "I hope not scoring a goal doesn't come back to bite us," he remarked.Wenger's Arsenal defeated Roma 1-0 at home, but the Frenchman later told the press that he was disappointed his team were unable to score more after creating a number of good chances."That is the regret we have tonight," he said in a press conference.In the football betting, United and Arsenal are both odds-on favourites to win their respective ties and progress to the next round of the competition.
