King expected to continue Premier League darts dominance

King faces Jelle Klaasen tomorrow

Mervyn King is the hot favourite to win his match against Jelle Klaasen on night four of the Premier League Darts competition on Thursday (February 26th). The 2004 World Masters champion is the only player left to have won all of his matches and he is odds-on to continue that streak this week against the 2006 BDO World Championship winner. Klaasen and King meet in the second match of the night, following multiple world titlist John Part's game with Wayne Mardle. Part is a marginal favourite in the darts betting and will overtake Mardle in the Premier League standings should he win. Phil Taylor is the most fancied player of the night as he goes into the third match of the evening with James Wade. Taylor has dominated the competition every year since its inception, but is looking to recover from last week's 7-7 draw against Terry Jenkins. Jenkins is not expected by the bookmakers to win the final match of the evening against Raymond van Barneveld.
