Solomona is out for the season

Bradford Bulls forward David Solomona has been ruled out for the rest of the Super League season through injury.The 31-year-old has been struggling with a shoulder injury since the opening game and has already undergone surgery.However, coach Steve McNamara revealed that further surgery is required and that the player could be out of action for up six months.According to McNamara, Solomona's rotator cuff has been pulled off and needs to be stitched back on."David was referred to another specialist and the injury is pretty severe," said the coach. "It's a pretty rare injury but it's going to finish him for the rest of the season."The New Zealand international will have the operation this Saturday (May 16th) - the day before the Bulls' next game at home to Celtic Crusaders.McNamara's side are currently in tenth place in the Super League table and are given odds of 1/9 to reach the play-offs by Betfair.They are odd's on favourites at 1/11 for Sunday's game, with the visitors priced 2/1.
