Massa: I want to return in October
Felipe Massa is targeting an October return to Formula One in order to compete in his home grand prix in Brazil.
The Ferrari driver, who is currently recuperating after suffering a serious accident in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix last month, told Brazilian TV channel Globo that he would like to take part in the Interlagos race, which he won in 2008.
However, he added that he will not be the one making the decision on whether he can get back behind the wheel on October 18th.
"It's not for me to say, it's for the doctors - and I have to show I can be ready," he said.
The next stop for F1 is the European Grand Prix in Valencia, Spain. Brawn GP's Jenson Button, who leads the drivers' championship, is an 11/10 favourite to win at Extrabet (Go to Extrabet »), ahead of Red Bull's Mark Webber - available at 13/5 with Sportingbet (Go to Sportingbet »).
