Jackson: I'm glad I'm on Crabtree's side

Crabtree is inspiring, says Jackson

Huddersfield Giants player Paul Jackson has admitted he is happy to be on the same rugby league team as Eorl Crabtree ahead of their Challenge Cup clash with Warrington Wolves on Saturday (August 29th).

The prop said that Crabtree has "really had a good year" by leading from the front, adding that the 6 foot 5 inches forward prop is an important playmaker.

"I'm glad I'm on his side, he's a big thing. To see him in full flight is one of the biggest inspirations," Jackson said.

He added that Crabtree has come into his element now that he is being supported as more players are pushing up with him.

The Scotland international confirmed that it was nice to finally be playing at the top-end of the league instead of battling it out escape relegation.

Bookmakers are currently finding it difficult to choose between the two teams for the Challenge Cup, with both 888Sport (Go to 888sport ») and William Hill (Go to William Hill ») offering 5/6 odds on both sides.
